Learn languages with uTalk

Choose from over 150 available languages. The menu allows you to browse content, search for specific languages and download them directly. Regional dialects are available as separate languages. So you can learn exactly the variant that suits you. The menu takes into account downloaded and recently used languages and automatically adjusts the structure. This allows you to navigate through the content more quickly.

How can you use uTalk?

To use the service, you need a PC or mobile device with Internet access and a valid Hofheim public library card. Open the following link in your browser: https://login.ebibliotheken-hessen.de

First select "Stadtbücherei Hofheim" and log in with the number on your library card and your personal password. Find the uTalk tile on the dashboard and click on it. You will now be shown a code - also enter your e-mail address and create a one-off username and password.

As soon as you log in via the library, you can enjoy all the benefits of the uTalk subscription.

Good to know!

• A new license is always valid for 30 days can only be purchased via the Hessian License Manager (HeLiMa) can be accessed.
• A direct login with library card number and password via the "Learner/Library Login" option in the uTalk app is not possible for Hessian libraries!
• A personal account with e-mail address, user name and password must be created once when using uTalk for the first time
