GENIOS eBIB

Test now until March 2026 the GENIOS eBIB. GENIOS is a research platform for newspapers and magazines, which you can use to search the archives of an extensive media collection thanks to the current digital funding from the state of Hesse.

In the archives you will find both the current issue and the historical issues, which often go back several decades.
The titles in the media collection are divided into media types, e.g. "Press", "Trade press", "Consumer press", "Business compact".
You can use a simple keyword search to search through all content and find all articles on a topic - regardless of the medium and when they were published. If you get too many hits, you can limit your search results using various filters.

How can you use GENIOS eBIB?

To use the service, you need a PC or mobile device with Internet access and a valid Hofheim public library card. Open the following link in your browser: https://genios.eBibliotheken-Hessen.de

First select "Stadtbücherei Hofheim" and log in using the number on your library card and your personal password.
