Fairy tale art project of the Hofheimer KulturWerkstatt e.V.

On November 5, 2025, the Hofheim Kulturwerkstatt e.V. art project about fairy tales and stories will start in the Hofheim public library. The free offer is for children from the second grade and lasts until February 2026.

Do you like exciting stories about mysterious castles and fantastic creatures? Do you like drawing and painting? The fairytale art project is just the thing for all school children who happily agree.

From November 5, 2025, the fairytale art project of Hofheimer KulturWerkstatt e. V. in cooperation with the Hofheim public library will take place on Wednesdays from 16:30 to 18:00 in the rooms of the public library.

The project, which has been awarded a prize by the Federal Ministry of Education, is led by Hofheim artist Heidi Werkmann. The project is complemented by exciting program items from the team at the public library.

As the number of participants is limited, children must be registered in writing. Registration forms will soon be available at the public library or can be downloaded directly here.

Thanks to the support of Süwag, the Clémentstiftung and Hofheimer KulturWerkstatt e. V., the offer is free of charge for all children. The materials are also provided.

"There are fairy tales and legends to discover in all cultures," says project manager Heidi Werkmann. "Together, we will go on a fantastic literary journey around the world and track down exciting stories in Hofheim, which we may even invent and write down ourselves." The children will create a story and fairy tale book, which they will receive at the end. The project aims to encourage the children to go on a journey of discovery into their own culture through exciting fairy tales and stories. It should arouse their curiosity to engage with literature and language. It should also encourage them to express themselves imaginatively with color in a protected space.
