The Pigeon Heart tomato, also known as "Coeur de Pigeon", is a red, heart-shaped date tomato with a size of 2-3 cm. This variety is characterized by its crunchy texture and sweet-spicy taste.
Sowing:
Pre-cultivation from mid-February. The aim is to plant flowering after the last frost.
Sowing instructions:
Sowing depth 0.5 cm
Germination 7-14 days at 18-26°C
For germination, place in a sunny position at approx. 20°C, then in a slightly cooler place and prick out when the first 2 leaves have formed (approx. 14 days).
If the temperature is above10°C , the young plants can also be taken outside during the day, but initially only in the shade so that they can slowly get used to the light conditions.
However, the light conditions outside are much better for the plants than indoors, making them very stable.
